This could be due to a few reasons:
1. Android users should make sure that NFC is enabled on their phone and on the Nando’s Card, and that Google Pay is set as the default payment service in their phone settings. Click here for help.
2. If your phone has been dropped or damaged this may break the NFC in it.
3. The contactless reader itself may be having issues. Ask the cashier to try on another contactless device. If it still doesn’t work, fear not! You can still give the cashier your Nando’s Card number to collect Chillies or redeem rewards.
